These Two Thomas the Tank Engine Electric Train Tracks Are Great for Younger Kids

Thomas the Tank Engine electric train tracks are a fantastic toy for kids of all ages who are fans of Thomas the Train.  Ever since Thomas and Friends were first introduced in books and television shows, kids the world over have been in love with the little blue train, and train sets are a great way to spend time with Thomas.

There are many Thomas electric train tracks to play with.  Some are geared more towards older kids, but many are small, simple tracks that are best suited for toddlers and other young Thomas fans.  There are two tracks that my son played with before he turned 3 years old that he had a lot of fun with.

Thomas the Tank Engine Electric Train Track - Thomas' Big Day

Thomas' Big Day is a small, oval train track that is simple to set up and easy to play with.  There is a switch on the battery-powered Thomas that turns Thomas on and off, and there is a switch on the track that makes Thomas start and stop on the track.  These two switches alone are enough to give toddlers plenty to play with.

Thomas the Tank Engine Electric Train Track - Sir Topham Hatt Figure-8 Wooden Track

The Sir Topham Hatt Figure-8 Wooden Train Track is just like it sounds.  It is wooden and it is in the form of a figure-8.  Like other Thomas the Tank Engine tracks, this track utilizes a battery-powered Thomas engine.  This train is good because it is fun to watch Thomas go around a track in something other than an oval.  The biggest challenge is that a young child cannot put the track together by themselves, so some adult help will be needed.  But once the track is assembled kids will have a blast.

Enjoy your time with these Thomas the Tank Engine electric train tracks.  Your kids sure will.
